Wake to the sounds of birds chirping, as the sun rises over the calm, crystal clear lake. Take time to breathe in the fresh air that surrounds you while you enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast. Here you will be offered a good selection of fuel for the day’s adventures, including bacon and eggs, hot and cold cereals, pancakes or crepes, fresh fruit, juice and of course coffee or tea.
You will then set off with your adventurous crew on a day of paddling, swimming, and exploration.We will stop at an island for a lovely picnic lunch which will include anything from cold cut sandwiches, tuna salad in a pita, falafel's, fruits, cookies and lots of snacks for the kids! After lunch we will enjoy scavenger hunts, family “survivor” games and enjoy some water Frisbee or chose from one of the many exciting activities we offer.
We will then have the opportunity to practice our newly acquired padding strokes while exploring the rocky shorelines as we leisurely make our way back to the campsite. The late afternoon will allow for play time for the kids or a quiet nap for the little ones as we prepare a yummy meal.
Dinner is our favorite meal as we all enjoy sitting by the fire and reminiscing about our day over a delicious meal which could be chicken stir fry, pasta with red or white sauce, pizzas and panzerotos or any other creative treats that your mind can muster up. All complimented by fresh salads, warm bread and a bottle of wine and juice for the kids and ofcourse delicious fresh baked desserts! Yum!
After dinner, everyone is invited to sit by the campfire to roast marshmallows and watch the sunset. As the northern stars begin to twinkle we often serenade the evening with our favourite children’s songs. The rest of the evening is yours to do with as you wish. You will probably find your little ones asking to return to their tents, where they will find fun lanterns, glow sticks and bedtime story books. All this in just one day - imagine the memories you will take away with you after a weekend!
