Our canoe program remains the heart and soul of Family Paddling Adventures, and when the song of the loon echoes from a serene lake, you will understand why. Our trips vary in length, from one day to an entire weekend, but all will offer your family the opportunity to explore and appreciate better the beauty of nature while enjoying fun and exploration and a chance to truly spend quality time together as a family.
All of our trips are fully outfitted with excellent gear and deliciously prepared meals to allow your family a hassle free vacation of swimming, relaxation and bonding. No previous experience needed.
Enjoy a special day with your family on a beautiful lake with a small group of fellow familes. Our day is geared towards having a ton of fun and learning how to paddle, while escaping the busy city for a day. Before the day's end you and your children will have learned the basics of paddling a canoe, enjoyed a beautiful shoreline picnic and explored the nooks and crannies that make a lake-side habitat so special. Looking for a 2 day getaway with an easy drive to introduce yourself and your family to the outdoors? Haliburton is your destination! Located on a beautiful and quiet lake with great campsites, waterfalls and wonderful vistas. Our 2 day adventure will provide your family with the chance to learn how to paddle, prepare yummy meals from delicious pancakes and bacon and eggs at breaky to wonderful picnic lunches and scrumptious dinners which can include pastas, make your own pizzas, chicken stir fry, bbq's and of course dessert to top it all off!
Evenings will be spent by a roaring fire telling camp stories and roasting marshmallows. Just the right amount of fun, relaxation and bonding for your families 2 day getaway!

MEET US IN MASSASSAUGA
The beauty of the Massasauga Provincial Park is that it offers the adventurer two very different eco-systems within in one great weekend getaway. Here the smaller inland lakes of the Canadian shield meet the vast, rocky shoreline of Georgian Bay, giving paddlers the opportunity to experience the cool breeze off Ontario's 'sixth great lake' while also enjoying the intimacy of a Muskoka setting. Wonderful swimming, spacious campsites and awesome rock-cliffs make this the perfect weekend retreat for your family. This adventure includes a day trip paddle where we will enjoy a wonderful exploration day to Georgian Bay and its neighbouring lakesto a gorgeous set of waterfalls.

KIDS IN KILLARNEY
Spend 3 days in one of Ontario's most beautiful provincial parks! Killarney Provincial Park is considered one of Ontario Park's crown jewels and when you see the majestic and mountainous wilderness views and the sapphire lakes you will understand why. A small portage (90 meters) will lead us into a crystal clear lake where we will enjoy 3 days of fun, exploration, nature interpretation and family games!
As a group we will prepare yummy meals from delicious pancakes and bacon and eggs at breaky to wonderful picnic lunches and scrumptious dinners which can include pastas, make your own pizzas, chicken stir fry, bbq's and of course dessert to top it all off!
